2. Find yourself a quiet location with no distractions, where you can be comfortable to sit or lay back. (Bed or couch is recommended than sitting if possible)
3. Turn all sounds that are not required like notifications and alarms onto silent from your phone, tablet or laptop.
4. Try to locate your camera securely, so I can see you from your waist upwards with your hands resting on your upper body unlocked and your face in view.
5. Your camera phone/tablet/laptop must be somewhere close, so your voice will be picked up clearly.
6. Find a location that has the best broadband signal if possible and make sure you have enough battery power if not using mains.
7. Bring some water with you for afterwards.

There’s two sides to your mind is the easiest way I can explain it.
The conscious mind is the questioning side of your brain...always asking ‘yes or no’ to anything you think about. Should I make a cup of tea or put the TV on?
Your subconscious mind is the part that helps you to walk without thinking, as you taught yourself to that at a young age or to grab the remote without having to teach your muscles to open, move and grasp the item. Whatever you teach your subconscious mind to do; it will do it without Questioning.
Your subconscious mind stores memories, beliefs, emotions, and habitual patterns that you don't think about every day. As an example, when it comes to smoking or weight concerns, as they can be difficult to break the habit on our own because they are associated with a deeply ingrained beliefs, associations or behaviors. I can find those in hypnotherapy, I can evaluate what is causing these core issues and work with you using many mindfulness tools, coping mechanisms, and healthier relationships within yourself to resolve why it’s all happening.
So, tell me more of what Hypnotherapy is all about?
Hypnotherapy induces a trance-like state in which your mind and body can relax while also allowing you to focus and concentrate more effectively. Hypnotherapy relaxation is actually very natural for us, especially for children, and we frequently experience it in brief moments when we are in between the conscious and unconscious states, not fully awake and not fully asleep, like when you go to bed before falling asleep or waking up before opening your eyes. Your breathing tends to slow down, muscles relax more and let go of tensions, and you experience a pleasant, almost euphoric state. When daydream, when we lose track of time while having fun, when we are deeply engrossed in a movie or reading a book and forget the world for a moment or two, or when we go on a journey and zone out for a while only to "wake up" and wonder how far we've driven, this happens naturally. We can enter this relaxing state in a variety of ways.
You will experience a profound sense of relaxation during the session while remaining completely aware and in control. You can gain control over patterns, behaviors, fears, thoughts, feelings, and actions by using hypnosis. It can give you a better understanding of who you are and how you get along with other people, as well as a glimpse into the experiences, goals, and purpose of your life in the future.
You will be able to process aspects of our subconscious that you do not normally access in your day-to-day life through hypnotherapy. Can hypnosis be used on anyone?
As long as they are willing to relax and trust the process, majority of people can be hypnotised. If I had a pound for every client who said they cannot relax and after a few minutes they are amazed that they did allow themselves to and really enjoyed the feeling of peace and tranquility.
Can I be hypnotized into saying or doing anything against my will?
I hate to break it to you, but a hypnotherapist does not work in any way that would cause you to cluck like a chicken. You don't get hypnosis from someone else. It is not a procedure; rather, it is a tool for therapy and a process of growth and healing. You will never say, do or experience anything that is not right for you. You can come out of the relaxed state at any time. The most benefit will accrue to those who are prepared to put in the effort both during and after the session. Consider it a process rather than something you can access, obtain, or experience a life-altering shift from in just one session. It is essential to have realistic expectations, and I will act as your guide, providing you with the necessary resources, information, and tools to put it into practice in your life. Also, having practiced meditation and breath work can help you get into a relaxed state more quickly.
How can I determine whether these are actual memories or just my imagination?
Something I’ve heard many times. It's great when information comes from the subconscious mind without being processed by the conscious, logical mind. As long as the information is helpful to the client in their current life, it does not matter whether they are actual memories or imagined memories.
In hypnosis, what kind of information emerges?
Hypnotherapy information is based on how each person interprets information. Some clients will receive auditory information or intuitive messages (inner knowing), while others will experience vivid images, colours, and symbols; others will respond more kinesthetically and be able to feel things. The degree of relaxation and capacity to enter a trance affect the amount and intensity of retrieval. A person may be able to go deeper and experience scenes that look like scenes from a movie in a dream state if they have practiced mediation, hypnosis, or have had previous hypnotherapy sessions. Clients are able to enter relaxation more quickly with increasing practice, and rather than being passive observers, they are able to deeply experience the sessions.
How many sessions will I need?
Everybody is different and once you have experienced a hypnotherapy session then changes will be felt either slowly or very quickly. Clients may begin to notice a shift and integrate their experience after just one session, depending on the issue. Your treatment is completely tailored to your specific needs, expectations, and willingness to apply what we discuss afterwards for your daily life.
Investment in yourself is something most people will not even think about, some will pay out 100’s for a service on their car, which will help it run better and longer but don’t think that they need to invest in their own wellbeing to help them enjoy life and longer without restrictions and being held back.
How long is a session?
A session can last up to 90 mins on your first one costing only £60 and each session afterwards will be approx. 60 mins at only £40 each time.
